The new Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD) is located inside the MOD 3 International Zone where the Parliament used to be. Two wings of the building were almost fully destroyed by the bombings in 2003. Phase 1 consisted in renovating the first wing within 20 days. Phase 2 and 3 were to rebuilt the most destroyed areas Implementing new steel structures and also building an additional floor. This project included the daily management of more than 500 workers on site. The project was completed in 7 months and terminated in January 2005. In addition to the buildings, Sigma has built 2 new parking lots for more than 500 vehicles in less than 10 days. The project was a big success and Sigma has been highly recommended since. It also included a 6 MW Power Generator Station feeding the entire building.

In addition to the Ministry of Defense renovation, Sigma was awarded by KBR to install a new Waste and Water Treatment Plant for the Ministry of Defense in April 2005 in a period of 2 months
